0408 S&S2 Week 1 Day 5

Decided to do Zercher Squats afterall. (not to be confused with the even manlier Zercher lifts, done from the floor -knee by means DL, then arm hook..)

Didnt' want to use the "pussy padding" and wrapped leathers traps on the bars instead, but it just turned out really awkward, so i ended up with the pp...



started zerchers from between knee-hip height, took it all the way up. Turned my face real red, more than the usual 2RM-3RM back squats. Being the first time actually doing weights on this, started with 50kgs, then moved up by 20s and 10s until i felt comfortable with the 100s.
Military presses were surprisingly odd-feeling, as I haven't done standard seated-presses for nearly half a year. Since I've been doing a hell lot of BTNs, my ROM for shoulder-based pressing had been reoriented to a more reverse-angle pressing. final reps on sets 3 and 4 were fights against leaning forward to gain advantage, a complete opposite of how i used to thrust chest up to use chest.. so i exaggerated the movement by thrusting chest forward as much as possible..
Was planning on doing upside-down parallel bar trap-shrugs, but was shrot on time, so had to make do with 2x20kg plates on each arm for 3-5 reps, total 3 sets each.
